Severstal steel output rises 6% to 5.7 mln tns in January–June

MOSCOW, Jul 24 (PRIME) -- The steel output of Russian metals producer Severstal increased 6% on the year to 5.7 million tonnes in January–June, the company said in a statement on Monday.

Production of cast iron rose 6% to 5.64 million tonnes thanks to higher load.

Steel sales increased 9% to 5.47 million tonnes.
